WAIMH 2021 Program - Important Information Update

The Program Committee and the Organising Committee are working to put together the instructions, guidelines and deadlines for the current WAIMH 2021 accepted presenters.

If you have an accepted presentation for WAIMH 2021 further details in relation to your presentation including the below will be sent to you via email shortly;

  • How your presentation will be delivered
  • How to create your presentation
  • How to submit your presentation
  • When to submit your presentation by
  • Question and Answer (Q&A) information

The email with this information will be sent to you by Friday 12 February 2021. Please keep an eye out for this important information.

Please note you will be given ample time to prepare your presentation and submit.

Sponsor a delegate applications reopened!

We are pleased to announce that the sponsor a delegate scholarship program has been reopened and we are now accepting applications.

Delegates from Low Income (LIC), Lower-Middle (LMC) and Upper-Middle Income (UMC) countries can be sponsored by High Income Country peers - by individual infant mental health professionals, by Affiliate Associations of WAIMH or by companies. Sponsored delegates will have the opportunity to participate in the Congress, to learn about new scientific and clinical practice on infant mental health, to share their own knowledge and to meet colleagues working internationally in the field.

Delegates from LIC, LMC and UMC countries who have had an abstract accepted for the Congress can apply for a sponsorship by filling in the application form. Applications close 30 April 2021.

Delegates successful for a scholarship will receive;

  • A virtual Congress registration
  • One year membership to WAIMH (2021 year)
  • One year online subscription to the Infant Mental Health Journal (2021 year)

How to donate

If you would like to support someone to attend WAIMH 2021 Congress you can donate by one of the methods below;

1. Donate money in conjunction with delegate registration for WAIMH 2021. The online registration form will allow a registering delegate to also donate money to the sponsor a delegate program. Click here for the WAIMH 2021 registration form. The online registration form has the opportunity for donations of; $20 AUD, $50 AUD, $75 AUD, $100 AUD, $150 AUD and $200 AUD.

2. Donate money via credit card or by international bank transfer. You can do so by following the link below and completing a short form.
https://icmsaust.eventsair.com/waimh2021/sponsoradelegate. This form has the opportunity for donations of; $20 AUD, $50 AUD, $75 AUD, $100 AUD, $150 AUD and $200 AUD.

3. If you would like to donate amount that is greater than $200 AUD, please email info@waimh2021.org with details of your donation amount. An invoice will be arranged and payment will be accepted via credit card or bank transfer.

Congratulations Helen Milroy

Congratulations to WAIMH 2021 Keynote Speaker Professor Helen Milroy, who was honoured in the recent Australia Day Celebrations receiving the 2021 Western Australian, Australian of the Year award. The Australian of the Year Awards recognises inspiring individuals who lead as role models for their communities, their state, and the nation. Prof Helen Milroy was Australia's first Indigenous doctor and is now a highly regarded expert in child and adolescent psychiatry. We are looking forward to hearing from Professor Helen Milroy at WAIMH 2021!
